There are major differences between the two parties. However, to get sidetracked into a conversation or debate about those differences does not serve us, well. How the economic policies of the major parties affect us, and working-class Americans is a more fruitful conversation, because all of us can identify and call for “specific or detail changes if we are well informed, when it comes to those economic policies,” especially if such policies negatively affect us. Thomas Jefferson said this, and it is true today, “A well informed electorate is a prerequisite for Democracy.”
